I have set up both, including in a cluster environment. Having been doing DNS/DHCP as standalone linux services for so long, I am having a little trouble adjusting to the eDir integration and iManager plugins, but once it's set up it seem to run fine.
One thing to watch is: if you use a user other than admin for the user to bind as (which is best practice for whe you want to change the admin password) then the CASA credentials don't seem to get set up correctly. There is a guide to fixing this in the troubleshooting section of the online docs.

The documentation supports edirectory-based DNS and DHCP on OES2.
Has anyone have it running? Is it solid?
